Problem Statement
Current users struggle with fragmented tools and scattered documentation when working in teams, yet they hesitate to switch to new platforms due to concerns about the learning curve, time needed to adapt, potential workflow disruptions, and limited access to existing resources.
Meanwhile, Miro already offers powerful features to address these pain points—such as tool integrations and the ability to embed files directly on boards—but new users often miss or overlook them, as Miro’s interface can feel overwhelming and lacks clear guidance for first-time users.
Solution
The onboarding process should be minimal, powered by AI to quickly identify user goals and personalize the experience from the start. Integrated file tools should be as simple as pasting a URL.

Result
Conducted user research and interviews to identify the core problem. Organized ideation sessions, brainstorming, and solution audits to define an effective solution.
Completed a functional prototype and a full presentation for the project.
Graduated with the “Best Team” award of the course.
Takeaway
Learned how to develop my thinking through a Beginner’s Mindset, and practiced asking deeper questions using the 5 Whys technique to uncover real user problems.
Gained hands-on experience with proper solution audits, user interviews, and practical ideation sessions.
Also learned how to collaborate effectively in a supportive, enthusiastic team environment to deliver the project successfully.
